I went there this summer and oh my god its so beautiful. I noticed a large hunk of your footage was from Mammoth Springs, one of my favorite places there. When we went a wild fire was sparked by lighting over the hill behind mammoth springs and it made for some dynamic orange and red light made even more dynamic with an oncoming storm looming over the valley on the way into the town!

Yup,... Its been a week since I've returned from Yellowstone... and I miss it dearly already. Best damned week of my life. And it was just like this,... except without the fantastic background music. Plus, it was more green (for this time of year). PLUS there were more crowds. Many more crowds. Too many crowds. But despite that, it was amazing still.

How were you able to get a drone around? Everything I read said it is illegal, curious, because heading out this summer wanting to take my phantom 4.

When we shot this, a couple of years ago we had no problem receiving the license to fly, but we know that recently there are different conditions. We suggest you check them out before you take your drone out :)
