Yellowstone National Park Visit & an Archery Elk Hunt in Utah
In September my wife and I traveled out to Salt Lake City and met up with out Son, daughter in law and granddaughter. Then we travels up to Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Wyoming. Then we went over into Idaho where I did a couple farming videos that I already posted. (Sugar Beet & Potato Harvest). We then returned to our sons house then I traveled and camped out with our son in Northern Utah. We spent 4 days in Northern Utah camping and looking for elk. The elk hunt was not successful as in we did not harvest an elk but I was able to get some footage each day and share this video of our venture.

I spend a lot of time in Yellowstone and have seen many cars damaged by Buffalo (my grandsons would correct me and say bison) and elk. I was there mid October and saw very few Elk, should have been plenty still in the rut.

It's not all bad if you didn't bag an elk. Great video I enjoyed the scenery and the cooking scenes. Very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Never knew anything about beaver crap. The cattle spotting you was quite funny considering they are cattle.😂 And the John Deere 7020 at the end was a real treat for me too. I live in Ontario I drove one when I was a young man. Good job. I've been to Yellowstone and Wyoming beautiful part of the world.👍

There's something to be said about the honesty of a common man's failed hunting trip video. The cooking, scenery and comraderie really made it for me and Mike's soft-spoken nature. Imagine Red Fisher or Ted Williams and Scuttlebutt Lodge, the Tall Tale Capital of the World. Listening to bragadociuos loud aholes is not where it's at.

Well Thanks, Even though the hunt was unsuccessful I thought it was still good to show all of the scenery and such for a video. Even those these type of videos don't get anywhere near the views as my farming videos its part of what I do and though its worth sharing.

As some one who has wanted to visit the states all of my life but sadly will never get to do it thank you for sharing this footage. Wow, Yellowstone is awesome. Is that bison that came over to your vehicle wild or is it a ranch animal, I would guess wild?
