I'm Canadian -- and Canada is a great place -- not sure where you got your information. I live here all ny life -- and it depends if an Olympiv Hill is big enough for you! We have far less crame here in general. Nice try!

Summer in Whistler!! ❤️ Krankworx, the Blackcomb base Fun Zone, live music, hiking, marmots (Whistler's namesake) and if you're lucky, the tiny toad migration near Lost Lake! . . . I love it! When they just had the chairs on Blackcomb, I used to love going up early, when it's super quiet, on a sunny morning and all you'd hear is the swishing of the chair climbing and the clack-clack going past a pole. Absolutely peaceful and awesome!!

It’s amazing, the whole time I was watching the video, I , too, was thinking: This feels like Disneyland! Either it really does look and feel like Disneyland, or else I’ve been watching too many of you videos, and starting to see the world from the same angles as you. :) Great walking tour! Can’t wait to see Whistler, especially the Upper Village, in the winter time, too.

Thanks Alex! We definitely think alike!

The Upper Village looks beautiful especially with the mountains in view! It wouldn't surprise me that the shorter opening hours are due to it being in between the summer and winter seasons. I remember visiting a similar mountain resort town in Austria a few years ago, and many things were closed when I went in early October.

Yeah. European resorts towns have a tendency to completely close up in the off season

Can normal(!) people live in Whistler, or is it only a Holiday town/ willage for tourists? For example: do they have a WalMart or a Target? Are there schools or Churches? I'm just curious... I have been to Vail and they have EVERYTHING you would expect a small city to have...
@YellowProductions2 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter -- Whistler has everything you'd expect a small city to have too.. but the closest Walmart is in Squamish which is about a 45 minute drive away. I think more normal people live in that town
@Scotchy_Scotch_Scotch2 жыл бұрын
You can live there if you can afford a place.

Hope you like Canada, Eh? I am from Toronto area ... and put some stuff up for THE GLOBAL GAMING EXPO -- so we sort of changed spots. Hope you check it out -- cause if you like it -- a quick noye from you would be quite an endorsement. I havew a video I want to go viral -- as I have a slot recently approved by Light and Wonder (formerly Scientific Games), that doesn't automatically generate tax slips for US playsers! Maybe agame changer here!! Take care -- and keep watching Yellow Productions!

I appreciate the effort to go out of the main village, but the north village is pretty dead, and I think your video accidentally shows that. ;)
@YellowProductions Жыл бұрын
No accident. I'd agree with you. North Village is pretty dead in comparison
