Israel has urged its European missions to lobby for the Houthis to be designated as a terrorist organization. The Houthis stated their operations would continue until Israel halts its military actions in Gaza and lifts the blockade. The group used Jaffa-type drones for attacks on December 23, targeting Israeli military sites in Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.
