Yemeni Rawani (رواني يمني)
Ingredients:
5 eggs
5 table spoons of flour
1 tea spoon of vanilla
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Syrup:
1 cup of sugar
2 cup of water
Few drops of lemon juice
Preparation:
Prepare the syrup before the cake by adding all ingredients and leaving on the hob for about 15 minutes. Leave it to cool before you add it to the cake.
Whisk the 5 eggs with the vanilla until they are creamy
Add the baking powder and flour and mix
Butter a tray and cook the cake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 12-15 minutes
Add the cold syrup
