Not easy to translate. It is about the painful emotions of parents of a just married girl. They say to the in Laws: A flower has bloomed in our front yard, We have brought it now to put it in to your lap... Pls accept this kid,the light of our house,to fill your home,pls accept

Further they tell to their daughter: Daughter,(now)You have become an outsider to the home of those who gave birth to you. (Now)These ppl are your ppl,They are your parents and friends now,They bring prosperity to you.Their gods are your gods!(This is highly controversial statement for me)

The third and last stanza is: Stop,wipe your tears,we are leaving... (To the in Laws) Mothers and fathers,please accept her, (To daughter again) Lead a full life by bringing glory to both houses...(not word to word) The beauty of the song is its excellent music composition.The lines of each stanza are not uniform in length but the music director has fit in this song to the raga superbly with necessary pauses and extensions where ever required. One of my all time best song. Thanks to Chaya madam for soulful rendition.
