I almost cried when I lost an important file on my phone. A rare event just happened yesterday and I want to cherish that moment forever. stop taking backup in sd card, they are coming in very poor quality, take backup in cloud best method i use 5 different cloud to take backup, one is google photos and similar other apps are available you take take whole backup of mobile, laptop in cloud, gone are the days of sd card backup, when you have backup in 5 different cloud storage then no worry i keep my net on overnight and everything gets backed up in cloud. Its cheap and best and everylasting...

your sd card has become corrupt you have to take out your sd card from mobile and put in card reader and put all pictures, videos in laptop, computer as soon as you can, then format your sd with mobile. Remember if you format sd card with windows and use in mobile this type of problem happens. You can't use sd card in laptop and mobile both. Your sd card will die very soon. Windows and linux sd card format type are all different and it corrupts the whole partition table when we fiddle with the sd card. So use only one device to format sd card. If you want to use sd card in mobile then format with mobile only and not windows.

WhatsApp ... since I got my S20+ my WhatsApp folders disappeared in the gallery again and again. The only fix until now had been to make a backup of the whole phone and the different app data and to reset the whole phone. Time-consuming and definitely just for at home or office, not on the go. That problem is described in MANY forums, but no fix helped, just the hard core reset to factory setting and reinstalling everything again ... until the next event. Still I don't know under which circumstances nor why that happens, now I know at least how to fix that problem super easy and relatively fast. Thanks a lot Yendry!!!!

My problem is that i got a new phone recent and on my previous phone i did the google setting download to sd card which could be shown in gallery. Transfer from sd card went also perfectly but since i got my new phone and i click on google to download on sd card doesn't show on gallery so i did chance the setting to download on internal storage where the pictures will be shown perfectly. Another thing is that when i open google and go to downloads and open a picture that was selected as download to sd card i alsways select open with gallery but when i do that a grey picture with a ! mark is shown so what does that mean? Edit: problem got solved after doing the software update.

@@kriystal4611 English is not my native language but i will try. Go to phone settings, scroll down to software update and click download and instsall. (It also depends which phone you have but if you have android then you should do that) Or you just wait for the next software update to pop up or you can go to a media/smartphone shop that can help you.
