Couldn't take my eyes off of Minnie and Soojin during this choreography. Where Minnie had to mirror Soojin, I was really impressed with how she kept up and held her frame. Also, the energy of both girls was excellent- they had a lot of bounce and body movement! Soojin is of course a ridiculously gorgeous dancer, but it's lovely to see improvements in the other girls too.

Minnie hasn't been getting heaps of love this comeback even though I feel she's absolutely slain her performances in terms of vocals and choreo... nor has Soojin to be honest (aside from in this choreo vid). They both shone here but the fact remains that even if you have a bias or bias wrecker (and my bias wrecker changes basically every era), it's still okay to share some respect and admiration for the other girls. I watched a video just now with Soyeon, Yuqi, Minnie, and Miyeon. There were basically comments only about two more popular members and the other two members had nothing. Soyeon looked so pretty in that video but no-one was commenting that so I popped it on there. Sometimes it's nice to show appreciation for different members :) even when all the girls are QUEENS.

Soojin's posture and precision are what make her an elite dancer. At 1:15 you can see the differences, especially with the vertical line of her back and the even horizontal of her arms... Just attention to detail. She's a perfectionist in her dance. Not to take anything away from anyone else, but Shuhua is probably the closest with posture and body lines, and it's still not close. Soojin just destroys on the floor. I really hope she comes back. She's such an asset to the group.

Watching this again, what I appreciate the most about Shuhwa's performance here is the way she smoothed out+slowed her movements at the appropriate points while also accentuating+sharpening other parts; this style of choreography calls for particularly graceful+refined execution, which is already difficult enough to express even in dance that's not focussed on such detailed and pretty actions.

Can’t believe Soyeon suffered so much just to debut, went on unpretty rapstar bc she was ridiculed for her looks… I always thought silver hair would suit a pretty and talented rapper AND producer AND leader like her She writes and makes music as beautiful as she is, I’m so happy the girls all debuted together and I hope they’re known for their beautiful choreography, voices and selves Here’s to a new year with (g)I-dle nevies!!!! @@Brilleetoile its not like she has much lines in this comeback .. she has 2 parts and that chaolla2×.. plus she's not being greedy.. she gave main vocalists many parts and the bridge.. yuqi and soojin at the subvocalist(according to their profile) get prechorus.. shuhua get to start the chorus and dance solo part.. soyeon get to start the song because she's the center (just like other group like nayeon always start twice song and ryujin always start the song/yuna even shes not the center but she kinda treated as the center)

Shut up, Soyeon is the sweetest and she barely has lines on the album. In Moon and Hann she only sings two lines, in Dahlia and Lost she only has the rap part. In Hwaa she's is not even the center most of the time and she's the official center of the group. She is a sweet and caring hardworking leader, cut your useless tongue before to talk about her.

Regarding the mindless attack on Soyeon: I discovered (G)I-dle on Queendom. Thought they were extremely talented with everyone making a well rounded balanced performance. When I found out they write and produce, I was blown away. As a lifelong musician, I have played in bands with talented songwriters. Myself and other bandmates have tried to write songs at times and I (we) couldn't do it. Did I resent the ones who could? No. We all perform different functions. I was happy to just write the basslines and be a member. One thing I find incredibly stupid about the community is this obsession with line distribution. I suspect these ones are critical of Da Vinci because he didn't use an equal amount of 6 colors when painting the Mona Lisa. News Flash: Art and groups don't work that way. A group is like a body, your left hand isn't unimportant because it's not a head. If anybody thinks it is, I urge you to cut it off and discard it. My point: Soyeon is a talented leader and musical genius and the collaboration with Minnie & Yuqi is mind blowing and puts Idle over the top. Shuhua, Miyeon, & Soojin complete a perfect work of art.
