THEORIE TIME: I’m sure they are many theories but it looks to me like Minnie is the victim in this MV, like she’s being punished by God and she’s being dragged out of heaven (in the beginning) or something along the line lol There are angels like Yuqi, Miyeon and Shuhua and on the other hand we have the ‘evil’ side with Soyeon and Soojin. Minnie looks like she’s been tainted by the darkness like her white outfit is now dirtied by the darkness if that makes sense idk, it seems to me like she’s a fallen angel who’s being punished because she came to close to the darkness or smg. And that Shuhua/Soojin moment with the chanting in the background is like the evil tempting the angel right? Like come to the dark side hahah Shuhua is also seen in the same wires than Soyeon too and then isn’t it Shuhua who’s descending to hell and Soyeon is coming to her at 2:37? I don't think it has anything to do with confidence and more to do with the fact that Cube probably does not have a lot of dedicated producers from the way they handle their other groups. G-Idle could definitely use someone else to help Soyeon because their b-sides are usually much weaker than their title track. Contrary to popular belief she is still human and needs to sleep sometimes. My favorite b-sides are Blow your mind and Light my Fire and these 2 are not from Soyeon, and tbh I don't feel any of their other b-sides are noteworthy. As proven by a lot of other groups right now (Red Velvet, Dreamcatcher, Twice, Loona to stay in gg), to have an interesting discography the solution is to just commision a lot of song writers/producers (including your own members, of course).

I read a theory basically saying that Soojin is the only fallen angel at the beginning and she's tempting all the other girls. Some of them fall : Minnie approached darkness too much and got kicked out of heaven (her hands are black and her clothes are dirty), and I feel like Soojin whispered in Latin in the ears of Shuhua and Soyeon who then fell out of heaven too. Btw, Shuhua was singing about love and something purple (Soojin's scarf, she was dancing with it). So it seems like Soojin charmed Shuhua. And I feel like Yuqi and Miyeon are the only two remaining angels but I'm not sure because of Yuqi's makeup. But seems to me like they are confined by angel's laws and the only way to be free is to break the rules and be a fallen angel. The only person who seemed to be free was Soojin, but she was a fallen angel. I still think that Yuqi might have understood the fact that falling leads to freedom. The makeup on her eyes is quite dark so that would mean that darkness has reached her eyes.

My theory: Shuhua and Miyeon : Angels Soyeon and Soojin : Devils Minnie and Yuqi: Humans (Neutral) Black=Truth White=Lies So, the 'she' they keep referring to is some sort of goddess, or spirit, presumably Lilith, in Judeo-Christian folklore is Adam's first wife, thrown out of Eden for challenging his authority and being his equal. She is, one by one, trying to persuade the girls to see the truth about the world. Soojin was the first to see it and become a devil. Soyeon was next; Minnie is in the process of being persuaded, and she is imprisoned for it. Yuqi saw it but refused to submit to Lilith. Shuhua saw all of this happening and became doubtful, the first step to seeing the truth. She eventually submits, shown in the scene where she is also in the same wire cage Soyeon was in. Miyeon has completely renounced Lilith and stays where she is and is resilient, confident in the world, not knowing that it is a lie. They are essentially trying to show the world the truth, and the song is basically telling God that they have been shown the truth and can no longer be held by the constraints of the earth and its society.

She wrote the lyrics for all of them herself without ANY co-writers! That's what we call a talent, an ARTIST! *my little theory* I honestly feel like there are 4 angels Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Miyeon. Minnie is kept hidden because Soojin wants to take her. However Soyeon is a double agent and is actually working for Soojin. Shuhua which is the Goddess is the one in charge of the whole place but Soyeon was able to beat Shuhua and that explains why Soyeon was in the barbed wire. When Yuqi saw Soyeon and Shuhua together, Yuqi tries to go away but eventually falls and on the second pre-chorus Yuqi's eyes has changed. The same with Miyeon she also fell on the second pre-chorus. We saw that Soojin was somehow trap and she couldn't do anything that's why she asked Soyeon to do it for her. When Soyeon was able to defeat Shuhua, Soojin made it out from the trap and when she confronted Shuhua, Soyeon appeared. If you stop at the right time, you can actually see near Soyeon's rap part . It displayed the texts that Minnie said in the mv teaser that they deleted and I think that signified that Minnie thought she was free and that was said to Shuhua. Proof is there are texts that said "ab imo pectore" which means 'from the bottom of my heart.' Later on it is also tattooed on Minnie's face. My theory is that a demon (Soojin) is forbidden to be with an angel (Minnie) that's why Soojin had help from Soyeon to beat Shuhua because Shuhua can control the angels and Soyeon wasn't an angel already. And when Soyeon controlled Shuhua, she made sure that Soojin will break free from the trap and get Minnie thus leading Minnie to say "I'm no longer a prisoner" to Shuhua. Also Soyeon, Soojin and Minnie are the ones singing the chorus maybe the 'she' that they were referring to was Shuhua because they kept Minnie and Soojin away from each other and Soyeon helped them. Also at some point of the mv Soojin had an apple on her hand and I think it a reference to Snow White in which the witch tricked her and in (g)-idle's case, how Soojin tricked all of them because even in the end both Soyeon and Minnie who were both favored by Soojin still suffered. Also let's appreciate Soyeon's amazing way of making this song.Minnie and Soojin's acting. Yuqi and Miyeon's visuals and vocals. Also Shuhua killing the bridge. Love it!

Okay personally I think that soojin is lilith or something like that, corrupting souls. Soyeon is possessed while in heaven (first scene) and you can see in her barbed wire scene she licks the wire (shes now evil). The scene where Soojin whispers to her, she believes the lies she is being told. The end scenes are her in hell.... Shuhua is an angel who is being led in by soojin, however she is fighting against it, she escapes the lies (she disappears and soyeon is there instead) and fights her way out of the barbed wire prison. Miyeon is the angel throughout all of this and the number one foe against soojin. Yuqi is on purgatory, another soul who soojin wants to corrupt and you can see her 'mind' falling down into a black hole, shes also running in the cathedral which symbolizes her trying to escape. Minnie was being taken from heaven to go down in hell since she is the most gullible to soojin's lies and is already accepting her fate. Soojin at the end looks victorious, shes clearly won the fight. Its even in the lyrics, soyeon saying 'help me' in her first scene, and then the chorus represents soojin's tales and lies.

Uff I didn't want to bring that up but I srsly thought immediately that my bias miyeon doesn't get what she deserves... and I'm not really happy with shuhuas part, they could have given her an other part but again the same part as in lion is just, not good. It sounds also the same :/ I hope the next comeback will give miyeon time to shine and shuhua better lines that doesn't sound the same as in Lion and Oh my God -.-

@@GZBKarma Yeah that makes sense. It is known for us Neverlands that Shuhua is scared to sing live, probably because many people hated on her poor singing in a live show. But we also don't want people to lose interest in her because she sings the same part in the same way. It's really a dilemma for me but if I was her I would risk it and try new parts and other stuff. But I don't know how bad her anxiety is so... idk I don't want to hurt her and gidle with this criticism but we can't also ignore it.

Ab Imo Pectori ( Latin phrase )- means with bottom of my heart. My theory ( it's a long one) It talks about the dark side of love, and how the temptation corrupts you. So the 1st scene with Minnie is like the white place she is in and it shows the innocence and how the temptation is trying to enter her mind ( white clear liquid showing innocence leaving and red liquid temptation taking over her mind) . The next scene with Soyeon denotes the same white innocence, but she is going restless over it. Then both of them is introduced to the temptation through Yuqi, who is already corrupted by the dark love. And the scene with Miyeon shows how she is the symbol of the purity and innocence ( kinda like the heaven owner itself) and how she rejects the red liquid ( temptation of dark love maybe) and just accepts the pure love... Chorus shows how Soyeon is already corrupted now and Minnie is fighting to get away from the claws of soldiers of the temptations ( see those dancers have dirty handmarks all over their outfit). Then we are introduced to the queen of the temptations ( maybe lilith herself, what with the apple holding reference and the chorus lyrics) behind her is the pedestal, her throne of hell. Then we are again taken to scene of Soyeon ( the rap) to observe how fast she is falling for the temptation and getting corrupted by the temptation. Then Miyeon getting kinda pissed about how the dark temptation is affecting her subjects while Yuqi shows how much she has gotten corrupted ( her eye makeup). 2nd chorus shows Soojin rejoicing her power and Minnie still fighting hard. 3rd verse introduces Shuhua, another subject of Miyeon who believes in the pure love and then, is again getting tempted by Soojin ( purple before then painted my face with red) and then whisper part shows how close Soojin gets to corrupt Shuhua but at the end she rejects the temptations and soojin leaves her but still accepts Soyeon( whisper part)..I think the Latin part shows how much both the side is fighting. Then the last chorus shows how far down the pit Soyeon has fallen and Soojin rejoicing the new subjects and just displaying her reach and power as a queen of hell. THEN THE CLOSING- It shows Minnie who has won the battle but now has the scars of dark love left all over her. The last scene shows how far she fell too but then she came back with her determination (the latin tattoo - with bottom of my heart), telling it's never too late and must keep their determination strong...
