The main theory that everyone says is: You see Minnie dragged out of heaven into purgatory which is the white room Soyeon is also in purgatory but it seems like she chose the leave heaven. You then see Minnie open up these curtains where she sees Yuqi in heaven. Yuqi is falling into sinning and darkness. She is admiring Miyeon and it is implied she is in love. When it’s yuqis verse she is questioning herself and at the end her makeup is darker like you see reds so she has accepted she has sinned. ( as a Catholic we drink Jesus’s blood and Body which is bread and wine we do this in mass do be one with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit) Yuqi drops a cup with blood which means she is done faking it. So yuqi is next to leave heaven. Miyeon is the god that is why she can’t sin nor is fazed by anything. Soojin is the devil or a demon, in one scene she is holding an apple(Adams apple) the first/original sin and it is known Demons and Lucifer are attractive to seduce mortals etc so Soojin was whispering to Shuhua and about to kiss her but then it was Soyeon. Shuhua is an angel that was going to be corrupted by Soojin with lust. But since Soyeon took Shuhuas place she is now in hell so as Minnie in the mud scene. Minnie is in hell because she killed herself she made a gun with her hands in one scene and suicide is the biggest sin after murder. Also Minnie throughout the whole mv was “sloth” like. She accepted her future and let the darkness take over her and that’s why her hands turn black. She is laying on the floor and mud shamelessly. Now that was the theory about the mv but theories for the song especially the English version are a little different

Basically I took it as. Soojin is the devil, the ‘she’ that they kept referencing. Soyeon is being lured by her and that’s why she’s in the dirt at the end and she’s looking up at soojin (she’s basically being seduced by soojin). Some scenes go by fast but soojin was being held up by some fabric and soyeon was reaching out to her. Miyeon and shuhua are the innocence of it all. They both stayed white throughout the mv. Soojin was In red and black the whole time. Minnie started off in the white room and was in white and by the end she had all the writing on her like the back up dancers had that she was with. So I took it as the Back up dancers for her were soojins army trying to lure Minnie in but Minnie was trying to get away and fought back but in the end she got sucked into where soyeon went. She got lured in. Yuqi drops a goblet that actually falls into where soyeon is. So even tho she’s in the innocent part at that second she then changes the next time you see her and she has red makeup on so it’s like she changed and has been lured to soojin. I hope this helps. I love this comeback so much, it’s their most interesting mv to date.

Minnie with the dark hair and dark make-up looks her best, a lot better than before. Since she too this style 2 songs back she looks her best. I think she found her best style and she should keep it. This song is by far my fav by gidle! They never fail to impress me. In my opinion, It has a bunch of reference to Dante’s nine circles of hell. The girls each represent sins, Soyeon- fraud, Soojin- lust, Minnie- violence. Yuqi represents innocence and it being lost...I also think that Miyeon or Shuhua represents Lucifer, they are seen to be in thrones, standing tall, worshipped, they wear dresses like the figure that you see floating and mesmerising Soyeon...you also see them falling in the sky (like lucifer falling from heaven). It’s really cool mv. The punishments match up to what the girls are doing(hence Soyeon covered in mud)! Check it out. :D
