Here again after the KGMAs and TBH ... i think this is the coolest thing they have ever done. So blatent, so unapologetic, so powerful. Everything from the styling to the way they arent mouthing the lyrics to the song itself has been so well tied together and is sosososo fkn smart. Like i HATED this on first listen when it first came out, but i was only taking it in at face value. This is a read-between-the-lines song and such a catchy earworm. 9 months later and I still think its one of my favorite releases this year and that Gidle has ever done.

For some reason I really enjoy seeing a girl group having the power to choose to do a concept that is 100% covered up, loose clothes. after examining the lyrics I realize the song is about how a wife who does everything for their man but is left unsatisfied emotionally and sexually even when they had to clean, bear children ("bake a cake"), and were expected to give their virginity (the cherry on top). "want me to be your wife but she is...umm...", refers to the unsatisfaction, with "she" being a reference to the wife themselves rather than another woman. Chop, chop, chop from head to toe refers to keeping beauty standards such as shaving, but still they're not being touched. Overall a pretty fun and refreshing song!
