i hope more parents see this and realize that asking older siblings to always yield to the younger ones can be unhealthy at times, but all they need to do is show appreciation to their kids trying to be as responsible as they can even when they get hurt in the process.
@sunwish59004 жыл бұрын
I agree
@anthyavila97264 жыл бұрын
It's definitely unhealthy. Eldest kids already have the short end of the stick by being the "trial" children of inexperienced parents, it's unfair to expect them to be substitute parents or to always give up things for the younger ones.

I really felt bad for Yeonwoo but it showed how good of a brother he is. Prior to this clip (in the full ep) Omma Jan Yun Jung was telling off Hayoung for acting up when they were playing tops with Yeonwoo. That tells me that the parents know how to discipline their kids but i guess its harder with Hayoung as she's a little girl and cries easily. While with Yeonwoo i think they can reason it out with him. I cant wait for the next episodes to see how Hayoung gets more mature and understanding like her Oppa!! ❤❤❤❤

As the eldest child. People, esp Parents forget that we also just a kid. They want us to act so mature beyond our age cuz there's younger than us. Putting responsibilities on our young selves was a lot of pressure. I felt this when I was young. I felt neglected and unwanted for always having to give in to my younger sibling. Always getting the one to get scolded when I didnt even know what happened. Its crazy so even as a young child, I tried standing up for myself and speaking my mind but they see it as a disrespect.

Hayoung is at that age of learning how to lie. The first lie that children learn to tell are denials from their wrongdoings. Which exactly what happen in this video. I was actually kind of surprised and dissapointed with her words "I have no strength to draw." especially with the fact that it came to someone who is just barely 2 years old. I was cultured shock. But then again, the fact that she's just still at that age made me think again. I knew she'll age and grew. About two to three years she'll start developing and eventually will learn when it's appropriate to lie. I'm not the parent and not a parent myself yet. But I do hope they'll start educating her that it's not okay to lie. Children learns at such young age. So educating them early is a must.
@therandomsound42224 жыл бұрын
yes i was shocked too by that line and denial and lie will affect alot when they grow up a someone who does lie i wish i did not i did to prevent from fight especially in conversations but sometimes my parents don’t believe it at all ene though i did they think i lie when i did not when my parents tell especially about my disability to not tell them which school i go because she afraid people might gossip about me and her and it did affect a lot i was disappointing at her i should be accepted ad who im and people need to change not me they should accept it
@rigocorrea44474 жыл бұрын
@@therandomsound4222 I really like your analysis. I understand that you’re not a parent, but you’re looking at this from a Child Developmentalist or Psychologist view. There’s different milestones for a child to lie, and Hayeong doesn’t know how to, but she exaggerates so that she can attempt to get out of trouble. She’ll learn how to lie and when is it appropriate. I’m not saying that lying is good, but there are studies that show that children who lie, typically have a higher IQ. Not sure exactly, but it’s something along those lines.

So here's the thing, different children have different coping up method. As for yeonwoo, since he's older and I think his EQ is higher so he is more affectionate and understanding towards her little sister. Older children most probably have a high percentage of being responsible and giving way to the youner ones. As for hayoung, she's delicate and sensitive (I mean she's very aware of her surroundings you can watch other episodes to know how smart she is fpr her age) that's why she must be aware that she'll get scolded or she might feel in a very pressurable situation. Kids mostly younger ones tend to be more sensitive plus she's so young and being scared is part of their development, most of the kids in hayoung's age instinctively think about survival and remain in their stands. Search for developmental stages by jean Piaget for reference. ☺️💛
