I should've never let him go alone. He almost got lost on his way back and he told me that he was almost spaced out only after that he realized it was something wrong. 100프로 모든 상황에 접목시킬 순 없지만 be about to 동사는 동사를 하려고 마음 먹고 실행 해 옮기려고 하는 상황에서 이야기하는 '동사하기 직전이다'구요, 이 영상에서 1번의 almost는 동사할 뻔한 가능성에 대해서 이야기 하는 겁니다. 간단한 예로,친구에게 전화를 하려고 폰을 만지고 있는 상황에서 그 친구가 저 멀리 보여서 만났을 때 그 친구에게 " 야 나 지금 막 너한테 전화하려고 했었어 I am about to call you.", almost는 친구만났을 때 " (통화버튼만 누르면 신호가 갈 상황에서 폰을 손에 든채)나 거의 너한테 전화걸 뻔했어.
