@catwhisperer12534 жыл бұрын
@Koala Wrath What? Because South Korea is free, North Korea does not need to be free?! That doesn't make sense. I lived and worked in South Korea for 8 years. The South Korean people do have a lot to offer the world, much more than just K-Pop and Psy. And, so does anyone else if given the opportunity. You don't know...perhaps a North Korean could invent a cure for cancer, invent a new technology, discover something. But we will never know unless these people are given a chance. They deserve to live freely. It is heart-breaking to know there are millions of people living in concentration camps and we can't or won't stop it.

@@devilsoffspring5519 I am sorry you feel that way. It is understandable with all the suffering we see in the world. It is hard to understand how God could allow that. I struggle with it as well. But, as a Christian, the Bible tells me that we live in a fallen world and that Satan is allowed to be the ruler of this world for now. Why? I don't know. I am sure in eternity, we will find out. Suffering is awful, but great revivals can come from it also. One of the biggest revivals happened when the Chinese people were greatly persecuted. Many underground churches were created and many were saved. Many experienced miracles. I sometimes lose my way in this world. Maybe you have lost your way. I hope you will open your heart a little to God and give Him a chance. Speak to Him and let Him show Himself to you. I know that I have experienced miracles. I also speak in tongues. God is real. Even scientists now agree that there is a divine creator. Satan and his devils are also real and I have had experiences with that also. But, I prayed for Jesus to protect me and He did and they went away. I even smelled the burning sulfur in my very clean, new apt. I don't smoke, I never had any visitors over, and the window wasn't open. But, it went away when I prayed to Jesus. I told my pastor about it and he said it was because I was reading books that had to do with the demonic world. The books were written by a Christian who had a near-death experience and experienced hell. Well, I stopped reading those books and gave them away...with a warning of my experience. It is concerning that you have a name like that on social media. I pray that you will ask Jesus to forgive you your sins and for Him to be your savior. Then, you can be God's offspring. You can be a child of God. You will have a great inheritance in heaven. The Bible says, "We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." And, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever should believe in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." See, it is so easy. You just have to believe. Sometimes it is hard to believe and we doubt. Did you know that even Job doubted? Sometimes doubting makes us question what we believe, and we wrestle with it, but then we have a clearer understanding of what we believe and why. I pray to God that you will have the faith to believe, to ask Jesus to be your savior, and to forgive you of your sins. Life is short my friend. I just found out that my cousin, who is in his mid-40s, has been sent home to hospice. He is given only 5 weeks to live. Make sure you know where you will be for all of eternity. God bless. ❤

The recent chemical explosion in Beirut is an unfortunate example of why it is imperative to keep weapons of devastation out of the hands of unstable or corrupt governments such as North Korea and Iran. It's fairly clear that the lack of regulatory integrity and poor oversight caused the explosion to be so catastrophic (that type of scenario could have never played out even in a country like the US which tends to have less strict regulations). 75% of France's electricity is generated by nuclear power. 5% of China's energy comes from nuclear power. It's insane how no one in this country had ancestors truly "natural born" (outside of the indigenous groups), but have the nerve to demand a natural-born president. The constitution was definitely written by British Americans. They could run simply because they established it, even not being natural-born. Funny how that part is a portion of the Constitution. "No Person except a natural born Citizen, *or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution"* And this was established to protect the nation from foreign influence, when the most "foreign" people in the nation were the people who actually established the clause in the first place. After seeing how one system of government can be so ingrained in people that they become sheep, I am not afraid to question what goes on in my own government. Even its laws and systems.

Of course the devil that has been so deeply influencing America for so long, does not want that happening EVER. News for him... TOO F NG LATE !

Other than “donating”, how can we help (liberate) North Koreans?
@hughmungus17674 жыл бұрын
lindsey cashman - Who do you want to donate to? If you give money to the North Korean regime, you only support Kim Jong Un. I hope you mean that you want to donate to Yeonmi Park and the causes she knows will help the North Koreans. I'm intrigued by a South Korean gentleman I've heard of who is doing his best to enlighten North Koreans on how the rest of the world really is. He's launched hundreds (or maybe thousands) of balloons that carry DVDs and maybe books that tell the truth in the hopes that they reach the North Koreans. This apparently makes Kim Jong Un furious so some of them must be making it through and not just blowing out to sea. Maybe you could send him money if he needs more to keep this going? I'm not sure what Yeonmi Park would have to say about that.

I appreciate your honest, clearly understood talk on this subject. The comments about peace intrigued me. Especially...peace without justice. I grew up in the Vietnam war era when we all protested and Peace was a word heard all over the place. Now from your perspective, I see that there are times when fighting is the necessary thing to do. You are opening eyes of many people and my hope is for your continuation of this with no repercussions. I wish you could be an advisor to our next administration on the subject of North Korea and Kim Jong Un.

Yeonmi, some minor technical notes: Your sound levels are better now than in your previous videos - keep up the good work! On the down side, your lighting is still a bit off - you have minor shadows that would be eliminated with diffuse fill lighting. Some of the shadows are on your chest and shoulders, and some are on the wall behind you. You can sometimes find the lighting rigs used on Craigslist... another source for audio, video, and photography gear is B&H in New York City... their prices range from reasonable for an amateur up to full-on professional studio, so you will need to be budget conscious. They advertise on KZbin a lot, and claim to have experienced sales people who do many interesting A-V things themselves... Again, they're not the only source, just sometimes a good one... Also, you are getting a lot of reflections off of your face - your forehead and cheeks in particular.. you may need to adjust your makeup in addition to the lighting to achieve better balance. Powder maybe? I'm a straight guy, so what do I know about makeup??? ;)

Trump talked about getting a Nobel Peace Prize and exchanged 'love' letters with Kim Jong Un. This will not happen with Biden. Hopefully some good things WILL happen that end up helping the North Korean people. Biden doesn't talk about it but that's because most Americans don't know much about North Korea and don't care.

I think it’s like this. In school our American history taught us George Washington rebelled against the British oppression and establish our own nation the United States of America. Women fought for right to vote. Susan B. Anthony. Black peoples fight for equality with whites and civil rights. Martin Luther King. You have to fight for what you want. You have to fight and win. But don’t expect Americans or someone else to fight and win your battle. North Korea in the global order has always been considered as Communist Chinas toy chihuahua up to G.W. Bush. No one cares about NK. There’s no oil. They have no impact on global trade. NK has nothing to offer. So what if NK keeps building more bombs. The USSR went broke. Does NK think anyone will reward them with factories and prizes for buildings more bombs? The US most probably liberated Iraq on behalf of its oil friends (Saudi Arabia) who will increase or decrease oil production which affect global trade. Who can offer the US anything to wipe out rocketman? Maybe South Korea will give us even cheaper deals on KIAs, cellphones, and flatscreen tvs? The answer is simple. The North Korean people have to get to the point when people are living so bad and dying so much until one man or several rise up and say, this is too much. We must get rid of this would be king. Be it one man or woman. Or several. They need to fight be it by sudden violence or slow persistence. They need most important of all, they need to win. In the US history, as is other nations...if you want freedom, you have to fight and win. Regime change has to come from within. If the NK people can’t produce its own hero in the current era, then the incumbent corrupt regime will keep on going to the next generation.
@uzithedreadpoet67774 жыл бұрын
Nigerians are experiencing slightly better but almost similar conditions from the political elite. Nobody yet is willing to stop the atrocious corruption that's basically destroying the country. The time must come when enough is enough. No one else can fight your battle. You can receive help after you've commenced the fight. I had hoped Kim Jung un would bring the necessary changes. Over time of course, he'd have to be ruthless in enforcing the change in corrupt systems and traditions, but he stood the best chance and is the best opporuned individual to bring positive growth. I pray for North Korea 🙏🏾
@zibomacadangdang1084 жыл бұрын
Kim Jong Un is grandson of the original dictator who “founded” North Korea. He is 3rd generation and treated beyond royalty and his existence is more like a divine legacy as two generations were taught to revere his family like a deity or religion. When I was a student in Manila, we took to the streets in rally’s and protest government abuses. They called it People Power. People were jailed or killed but when millions take to the streets and march to go after the dictator, he will flee and seek exile. Is any military or police willing to murder a million people marching down the street? This became possible because our countries are democracies and people had rights to rally. North Korea is communist like China so any protest against the system has 0 tolerance. To change North Korea, one North Korean opposition has to lead millions on the streets, to march down and drive away a tyrannical dictator. That or what happened to East Germany gets repeated in Korea. South Korea can simply invade North Korea if they can’t produce a NK local hero. I think South Korea doesn’t want to take over the North because it will dilute their current economic success. South Korea has reached the stature of Japan in Asia and the world as world class. Absorbing North Korea will drain the south’s resources. But ultimately, the best solution is a South Korean take over, because it already has leadership and resources. In this generation, there are no North Koreans willing to fight within, no South Koreans willing to fight from the outside. Talking and complaining will not change anything. Fighting means marching down the street in mobs, getting the military and police to back down and people invade and drive away the tyrant. People will die, but that is the price of freedom.
