I just received one your Double AC Ocarinas... all i can say is WOW! Well worth the price and then some. It sings like no other ocarina in my vast collection. I intend to play this ocarina for life. Your sub holes are amazing. They don't seem to require much of a breath cut. And I can't tell when you switch chambers by my ears because they are very well balanced. That's it! I'm saving up for one of your doubles Mr Pan. :)

You should see how much an Osawa double costs! 😂 I made the plunge. It should be shipping out in a few days. Everyone has such wonderful things to say about the Takashi ocarina.

What kind of paint/glaze did you use Mr. Kuolong?

He uses a clear lacquer over fired white ceramic. The black comes from the smoke of his firing process, which is then sealed in with the lacquer. You can have the ocarina without the smoke marks as well, if you prefer. Source: I'm a huge fan and have one of his triples.

+Gim Uni Thank you for the Information. I am a huge fans of craftsmanship, especially pottery. I am asking because I can make Ocarinas (mostly for my own use), but it seems I don't have budget to glazed them with glass (and that's why, I cannot afford to buy an Ocarina too.. T-T), and after knowing this (Mr. Pan's Ocarina finishing) I think that I could improve the finishing part of my Ocarinas too. It's time to get nail polish then.
