The weather right there is extremely contradictory. The Summer is very hot, above 40°C. In the Winter below zero. The best time to visit Armenia is in the Spring & Fall.

Yerevan is unpredictable in the winter. Some winters the clouds just sit over the city center for weeks and it could be cold, but usually it's very sunny and cool, nights are cold. There is no wind, which is good, the opposite of summer when it gets really windy in the evenings. Just make sure to have warm clothes for home. Some homes can be quite cold because there's no proper insulation esp. in the older buildings.
