Yerranderie is a former silver-mining town deep in the Blue Mountains south-west of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The town is accessed by a 60-km long rough, gravel road from a western entrance to Blue Mountains National Park; best suited to 4X4 vehicles.
There are no services at Yerranderie apart from a camping area with toilets and showers and short term accommodation in some of the old township buildings.
Several old buildings and historic sites remain in two separate townships; being the Private Township and Government Township.
There are also a number of mines in the area which can be accessed by walking tracks.
Along the way, you will pass an interesting stone hut at the Mount Werong Camping Area; another former mining area.
