Im probaly one of few but Talk is my favorite YES album along with Close to Edge and Fragile. The chemistry was pouring in every track. Still enjoyable 30 yrs later 😊

Talk is severely underrated. Great collaboration between Jon and Trevor R.

After 36 hours driving a taxi around Melbourne in the 70s, Yes was one of my soul healing remedies. I would lie on the floor between the speakers and scream out the pain and fear and stress and anxiety of a totally draining job - a hungry weekend shift of daring the devil and brushing with death often. And being exposed to human misery and anger and love while keeping my cool and staying alive. Thank you and yes, you returned me to life some days .....

I’m really flabbergasted that this escaped me. I drifted off a while back and left many things behind. Hearing this reminded me of what influenced a stupid teen to continue playing music. I never went far, life has twists and turns and plenty unfulfilled dreams. But I have a very fond memory of walking up a moss laden creek, headphones on and listening to yes, and for the first time feeling I had transcended all my daily struggles and there were possibilities. Thank you Jon and the ensemble over the years for giving me a dream.

If this had been released on Atlantic, it would've been hailed as another classic.

Trevor with his masterpiece in writing complex prog lines and juxtaposing them against verses that feel a bit tame and not in totally in the flow.

Did Roger Dean have anything to do with the visuals? Some seem like his imagery. Some do not.

Yes with T. Rabin not sounds like Yes.

YES was not "one sound". Every musician added their own flavor. Whoever was in the band made it sound the way it did.
