You should make a video of the easy way to put on the packing tape using a glass table and water sprayer to wet a section. Then put the packing tap adhesive side down onto the water. Thoroughly wet. Now cut to shape. Then spray wet the area on the kite you want to put the tape. Put the wet tape on the wet kite lightly so you can reposition and ensure it is smooth. Then lightly squeegee/tamp the water out with a paper towel. Then leave to dry out.

Many thanks for your great suggestion!! I will try it myself to learn and then will definitely make a video about it. How did you learn about this technique? If you want me to give you full credit in the video for giving me the tip, I will be happy to.... just tell me your name or handle or....a reference to you that you want me to use.

@@bruce.lambert No Credit needed. Something I picked up over the years building RC planes. The packing tape is not "water proof" so water under will dry out. Hence while very wet with a film of water under the adhesive it can be slide around on the film of water. Like a decal. Just don't press hard. Hence when you have it where you want it. You can then blot it down with a paper towel squeezing out the water. While the water is drying.. The tape will appear white with the trapped moisture. A day or two later it will clear and be fully adhered to what you put it on. Enjoy it. You've given far more knowledge through your videos and your fighter kite books. You've even sent me 5 of your masterpieces to enjoy. Thanks
