As a lifelong Yes fan, I always love interviews with Jon Anderson. His (and Yes's) music has been an influence on me for as long as I can remember.

Jon Anderson thank you, YES with you and your solo music is part of my DNA, your music has always been there at the right time in my life. Change We Must, changed my life. It came to me when I needed it, I had just lost the Love of my life, and that Music helped me get through that and many other times in life, LOVE is always a thread that runs through your music. No doubt you are a very highly Spiritual person, because it is reflected in everything you do. That energy comes across in your music, your painting. I first saw YES live in Savannah, Georgia during the Relayer Tour, as you sang Soon I cried, and you stood there brave and strong and sang about God and Love and Light. Thank You for a wonderful journey. ✨ Tim

It's not a complicate as it's made out to be. "LOVE is the ONLY answer". I always feel like my mirror is talking to me when I hear Jon speak. I first saw YES at my weekly Roller Rink opening for TULL Live by accident in 1971, LOL!!!, and the song 'Perpetual Change" hit me like a revelation. The lyrics were deeply poetic & profound to me. I was 15, at the beginning stage of a new young consciousness after two cycles of 7 years. Since then, YES music and Jon's lyrics have been constant mentors in my spiritual evolution. So, when Jon talks about the Trees and the Divine within, it's as if I'm hearing my own internal voice because Nature is 80% of what I notice when just walking down a normal city street. Also Getting "back to The Garden" (CSN lyric) is the exact biblical metaphor misinterpreted by most. The Garden is Nature, Nature is God, and Adam/Eve (Man) has separated themselves from that spiritual state of awareness & direct connection by believing in their own Ego-centric imaginary remote invisible God. In essence, they went insane & the cure is to find The Garden within again! And that's the ONLY overstanding that will drive us into a mindset to heal Mother Earth and stop her from hurting us. As a Reggae loving Black man who has also saw Bob Marley in 79 & lived in the Islands, so I overstand Jon's Caribbean sentiments. I've also seen Pakistani Sufi musician Nustrat (RIP) many times who ONLY sang beautiful poetry about ONENESS/UNITY and blessed to have traveled through India a few times. In early 2008, surprisingly & serendipitously Jon shockingly called me too, and we met to discuss Visual Effects Animation for his live Solo shows just before he became ill & let go from YES. After his recovery he would share free passes to his concerts where I met Jane and his 3 kids. I still send him messages of love, appreciation and birthday wishes.

Tery Bina (Nothing Without You) by NFAK is a treasure. I love Jon so much! The memories of first hearing this music back in the 70s gave me my beginning spiritual perspective and framed every day in wonder and appreciation. I am not exaggerating. It gave the perfume to the fields, the song to the birds, the sacred in the light. Well, it focused me to the Source. Thank you for this interview. Going to see Jon and the Band Geeks in September. Can't wait!

Congratulation Marc for this serious and deep conversation with Jon. His simplicity, faith in life, this almost irrational way of creating is astonishing and so inspiring still. One of a Kind!

That was a great interview. Excellent questions. I had the pleasure of interviewing Jon for the Boston Globe. It's not easy to interview your hero. You did an amazing job. (The movie he was talking about was "Everything Everywhere All at Once." I had the same reaction to that part of the movie he quoted. Powerful stuff.)
