+R Perez No, it's not a matter of "to each his own" Good musicians wouldn't be doing it so cheaply and most good bandleaders wouldn't encourage it. It looks disgusting to an audience and frequently the musicians handle the cigarette while missing notes like the guitar player who missed a couple of bars after the break, putting the cigarette back in his mouth. Elena is known for that bullshit when she smokes and holds the cigarette in her fingers and stops playing briefly. Otherwise, she's a great musician .

+R Perez Coming from a mind reader. Of course you're clairvoyant and somehow know I don't smoke or never smoked just because of my name. Good for you. FYI I smoked for many years before giving it up and running. I'm also a drummer. What I said about musicians and bandleaders has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not I smoke, and I would have said exactly the same thing if I were still smoking. Most musicians don't have to be told that. Smoking when you're not playing is one thing and not a problem, but you don't smoke while your playing, because it's a distraction. I guess you didn't read what I said about Elena sometimes "missing notes", right? She does it several times in this video and missed eight bars ! And so does the guitar player who missed a couple of bars. Have a lovely weekend. I mean it. Yes, I do mean it. I really , really ,really really, really, really, mean it. I swear I mean it !

What kind of cameraman hides Dizzy so completely from view? You smoke during special smoke breaks; if you smoke at all, but smoking when you're being filmed is very bad style indeed.
