They do have proprietary magazines that you can buy, but you could just use the Glock magazine adapter, and it will function just as well.

I don't use Glocks or Glock mags but a lot of people do. They're some of the most common magazine types on the market due to how prolific Glocks and their aftermarket accessories are. So having a weapon that takes those makes things much more simple for people who do use them.
