@rui Druid, Rogue, Hunter and Mage (and Priest DK) can all do damage through nova with hero power. Paladin and Warrior run weapons. Almost all decks run some kind of burn. How is nova harder to counter than ice block? Nova is countered by all burn (plus silence effects if you wanna get fancy), ice block is countered by exactly eater of secrets.

Also Paladin usually has a decent win rate against mage as long as you play aggressively then play eye for an eye when you put them at 1 health.

ye ice block when the enemy has 9 - /10 manacrystalls as druid. There was no reason to play an ice block, so it was completly obvious, especially since he played the quest. A good player knows which secrets a quest mage has in deck. So only a bad player would run into mana bind or counter spell at that turn.

On the other hand I don't think mana bind is run in most quest mage decks and counterspell in none, and sometimes you play a secret in a certain turn because you have nothing better to play

Vuj J but sometimes, you need to accept defeat. The rogue played really well and had lethal on the board constantly. Savij got extremely lucky and somehow won even though the rogue played the better game.

Giants are easier to complete, but archmage is more consistent. I still think giants are a bit worse in current meta with loads of taunts.

Main problem was Dörty Rat was all over the place before Frozen Throne. Giants could recover from that, but if they got a piece of the puzzle well the combo was as dead as if they'd thrown it into the ocean (that Mako married)
