To avoid the pop place it’s a bigger maybe 16 inch latex balloon stretched out over the top of the pole makes it easier for your topiary to glide onto the pole latex against latex

Yes! That’s a great tip! I started doing that after I made this tutorial. It helps to keep the balloon topiary from popping. I use an extra balloon (same size as the balloons in the topiary).

I love your little helper my son was involved like that when he was little. I told him not to touch my supplies but realized when he was doing a stuffed balloon for a customer on our kiosk he definitely had NOT listened. Customer never knew.

But I laughed at myself so much because the balloon machine scares me because it’s so Loud and so fast 😂. I ended up blowing them up by mouth. I tried creating 3 of these tonight. There's definitely a technique when connecting them together. In my first attempt, I used 9 in and wasn't too successful, lol. The second attempt I used 8 in, and was able to see the "flower" on both sides. In my third attempt, I used 6in and hand more control lol I'll keep practicing. I love the topiary look...simply but can be elegant.

Just made them for daughters 17th birthday...... I used foil Christmas tree stands instead of proper stands and topped with quarentine balloons. They look amazing. Never would have thought of the tinsel curtains. Thank you!

Love your designs as I also have been doing this for about 6 years..I probably would use.my Zoom electric inflator an do 2 at a time. Good to put an inflated.balloon on top of pole prior to adding the topiary. Keep sharing and God bless.

You can blow up the balloons the night before. But I wouldn’t twist them together until the day of the event.

An Uninflated balloon is what I wrote. LOL. I might even try taking a 160 clear and use it to attach topiary to pole for more security..do you think that would work and could be hidden?

Yes tie 169 clear to some point in the topiary and attach it to and/or wrap around stand at the top part so it is secure and not visible.

I have been practicing these topiaries, however I can’t seem to get the balloons tight like yours I can see some of the middle of the balloons. Do have any suggestions? Also have you ever used double stuff balloons to create these topiaries? I am in need of some help I won’t to use them for a party next weekend.

I would be nervous to double stuff balloons and then create a topiary. It’s harder to me to maneuver double stuffed balloons. What size balloons are you using? Do you have a balloon sizer? That will help make sure all of the balloons are the same size.

You can use an electric pump. You just need a balloon sizer to make sure all of the balloons are the same size.
