[Verse 1]
Before God came as a man, He was called Elohim.
But after Adam sinned,
He chose to come as Adam’s descendant,
To destroy sin, to defeat Satan,
And to overcome death forever.
[Verse 2]
With almighty wisdom and knowledge,
He knew what would happen
When He came as a man.
Through prophets and seers,
He wrote it all in the Holy Word.
[Verse 3]
The name written upon the cross,
The name God had revealed before,
YaHWeH, the holy name of the Lord.
In Hebrew, the Tetragrammaton,
Yeshua HaNazarei, U’Melech HaYehudim,
Yeshua of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.
[Verse 4]
God never denied He is YaHWeH.
Yet, He took the form of man,
Lowering Himself before the Father.
He humbled Himself, taking the form of a servant,
And walked among us in human flesh.
[Verse 5]
In the days of old, they prayed in the name of YaHWeH.
When Elijah stood against the prophets of Baal,
He called upon the name of YaHWeH,
And fire fell from heaven.
But those who called on Baal’s name
Were left without an answer.
[Verse 6]
When God came as a man,
Yeshua spoke and commanded,
"Whatever you ask in My name,
It shall be given to you.
Call upon My name,
And I will answer you."
[Verse 7]
To say, "In the name of Yeshua," at the end of prayer
Is not a ritual or empty words,
But a call to seek Yeshua directly,
To lift our prayers to Him,
To come before Him first,
For that is what it means
To truly pray in His name.
[Verse 8]
Seek the name of Yeshua,
Call upon Him,
Cry out to Him.
For He is the God who came as man,
And when we call upon Him,
Our praises and prayers
Will rise before the Father.
[Verse 9]
To pray to Yeshua
Is to pray to God Himself.
For Yeshua and the Father are one,
And the prayers lifted to Him
Are received by the Almighty.
[Verse 10]
Ask in My name, and you will receive,
That your joy may be full.
Pray in the name of Yeshua,
For when you pray to Him,
You pray directly to the Father.
[Verse 11]
Eternal God,
Our Redeemer and King,
We lift Your name on high.
Yeshua, we praise You.
Amen.
