Fully agree David, there is no place in this country for this type of violence. My heart goes out to the family of the firefighter who lost his live trying to protect his kids. Being in the fire industy myself, we feel the loss of every one of our fallen heroes and i am sending my thoughts prayers and good vibes to his family and a speedy recovery to the injured during this horrific unnecessary voilent act. Our polical climate over the past 8 years has been so divisive. Yes the Media is partially to blame, but one side and the violent rhetoric they spew, and all the blame and conspiracy theories that come out of that sides mouths is the main reason for this voilence.They seam to not respect the rule of law any more or our rights as American citizens our what this country was founded on. Heck the one they want to be put back in charge doesnt even know whats in the constitustion or what it stands for and is wanting to change it.. Eventually something like this was bound to happen, and if we keep letting these people gain control and give them the air time to spew their hatered, , i fear we are heading for more of this type of violence and chaos. i truly believe this is history repeating itsef becuase of the ignorant and uneducated masses that watch a particuler couple news outlets that doesnt report actual facts or real news and always seams to take the "republican" side. The media's part in this is giving them the air time tp spread their rhetoric, hate, and conspirocy theories to the masses. I am all for the freedome of speach and our right to it. but when hate, lies and falsehoods are all thats reported there needs to be heavy consequences or this type of thing is only going to get worse. I fear that if that side regains control, we will lose a lot more of our rights in this country then the freedome of speach. Not picking a side, just stating the facts that anyone with an IQ over 70 should clearly be able to see and understand. Amen brother. I’m a little farther than you but pretty close to butler. Our hearts go out to the families who have suffered loss from this tragic event. Good video man. Political differences should not = violence. So sad to see and feel bad for our children having to grow up with this. This is a main concern of mine. Political views aside, the youth of this nation need to be taught this is not the way and that is not happening. So sad to see. Stay safe. Regarding people being divisive and hating each other, I truly believe it's because people can say whatever they want on social media with little to no consequences, and people on the other side think the worst if they can't talk to or see the person in person. It's so easy to find a group of like-minded people on social media and say and do crazy things that you'd never say to someone's face. Social media allows things to spiral out of control because there's no real communication. Edit: And yes the media... that's a whole other issue.

I turned 47 a couple days before you, so I can relate to how we've seen the country errode in such a short amount of time. When I heard about it yesterday and heard that it was in Butler I was wondering how close it was to you. It's hard to believe that the secret service wouldn't be watching the perimeter of the venue!! My condolences go out to the families of the victims. We as Americans need to come together and get the career politicians out of office because the clearly don't have what's best for American ppl on their agendas. I'm glad more ppl didn't get hurt.
