To me, it's nice that he calmed it down for this song. Usually, we're used to him belting out high vocals here and there, but in this song, it's more relaxed and he uses more falsetto compared to more of his head voice, and I think it matches this instrumental more with that falsetto. Has the perfect vibe to it~

He prepared the song since 2 years ago but the album got postponed.. and he only started to do rock songs cover last year..still hoping he’ll get to rock genre in the repackaged soon😍 Small things does have quite repetitive instrumental but his voice is immaculate, I just can’t stop listening it.. other songs in the album has the same vibe too very chill and calming very easy to listen to

yeah unfortunately I think the concept photos gave a lot of people the wrong expectations for what this song was gonna sound like especially if you avoided song teasers, it ended up being more of an indie-pop song instead of a rock song but the b-sides are really strong one even has a really strong rap feature from NCT's Mark

Why are title songs almost always my least favorite? Lol Almost as sad about this one as I was when Burn the Floor got booted for house party. Mermaid and Bear Hug are top tier in my opinion though.
