Yet another big scrap pickup

I did yet another big scrap pickup from my best client. I need to pull the more valuable bits off the equipment quickly and take the rest to the scrap yard to free up the trailer to do another pickup soon. Wanted to say I got a box of normal office phones a few weeks back. I took them to get the good stuff. I took one apart just to see. I was pleasantly surprised. They had more gold than some computers. So if you come across them don't pass them over.

Not even going to try to outdo last year. We do have the usual fossil hunting trip and stays at our various other properties scheduled for this year, as well as an Alaskan cruise this fall. Going to wait a while before heading to the far ends of the earth again.

If yer changing to scrap metal pick ups come on over to clean up my pile😂 Another computer repair shop by me is closing down I should be bringing home a few more truck loads of computers soon. Wife is not happy. Though she doesn't go outside much she doesn't like the hundreds of computers I have piled up outside or really the 300 laptops I put In the spare bedroom. Told her they can't get rusty. I work on them every day but think I have years worth of I stop bringing in more. I say the more the better.

I'm not changing to scrap metal, but neither am I going to let an opportunity go by. Scrap metal is fairly quick and easy to flip for hard cash. Getting the gold from E-waste takes more time and effort. Watch my next couple of videos. They are e- waste related.

Your right. Just thought I may get my scrap metal cleaned up. My work removed an old pump last week. Maintenance guy asked if I wanted the wire. Said sure. I loaded it on Friday stripped it down and turned it in Saturday. Was $300 plus the stuff I filled the truck with made the load worth $425 not bad. Now the true test of a scrapper to me is whether you will make a u-turn in traffic to go get a 5 gallon bucket from the median?

I would like to see how you process transistors. I've been saving them up to the point that I've a few coffee cans of them.
