I gotta say, you really came out of nowhere and started making the best weirdcore playlists by far. A ton of people who make them tend to really miss that distinct "feel" that the best weirdcore/dreamcore has, and while I can't really put into words what exactly that "feel" is, I can say without a doubt that you capture it incredibly. This breed of music may be just noise to anyone who can't really appreciate it, but as someone who struggles with severe ADHD, it tickles my brain in just the right way that lets me be productive and squeeze some modicum of focus out. Thanks for doing what you do, and though I am just some random person on the internet, rest assured that you've got a solid fan in me. Keep up the great work!

This is such a thoughtful comment! I really appreciate it! I'm glad you like my playlists, and I totally feel what you mean. I have no idea how to describe the "feel" of weirdcore, but I try my best to find songs that give me that feeling. I know it's not the same, but I'm neurodivergent too, as I have really severe OCD and this aesthetic helps me a lot, so I'm happy to hear it helps you too!

I agree with this feeling. Most of the other playlists don't have the "feeling" that dreamcore / weirdcore is.. those playlists give that feeling of feverish dreams with bits of fear, joy, calmness, loneliness, and even uncanny. I love it.. as much as I love my dreams that most people would call feverish

For a liminal space to be liminal, it doesn't need to be scary or unnerving, what it needs is a connection to the viewer. This also stands for the music, as liminality is more about the experience than the image.

These empty halls are from another plane, a pit stop on your journey through dimensions. The random twists and turns may echo the architecture of your childhood home, but the original memories have been corroded by the sands of time. Just because it's the same sound as your feet against a typical grey carpet doesn't mean anything. This place is new, alien to you. Its every feature is empty, if not distorted. You should be uneasy and eager to escape. A thousand stares are crawling across your spine, the halls leading you in circles. Yet it feels so familiar... maybe you should stay! There's no exit in sight- it was just meant to be.

I've never seen Neil Cicierega's old GF theme used in one of these before, good choice! If I may make a pitch for future playlists, it would be cool to see Kaleidoskull from Lemon Demon's View-Monster. Up to you, though.
