Where can I get a replacement zipper puller once I take it off
@ScorchWorks3 жыл бұрын
There is a link to the 3D model in the video description. It is possible to send the design file to a company to have them 3D print it for you. Alternatively you can find a friend/acquaintance that is local to you that is willing to make the parts for you. 3D printers are fairly common these days. I own one but a local library also has one I could use. If you ask around you may be able to find someone to makes the parts for you. (remember to talk to young people they may have access at school)

Thanks for this! I had a friend print me out the file and it worked great as a replacement zipper. I had to use an M3 nut and 18mm M3 screw. But it works perfectly. Glad I didn’t trash my yeti! Shame Yeti doesn’t offer something like this to help their customers.

This is what 3d printing is about! I tried tipping your thingiverse page but it wasn’t set up. Thank you for making the files public.

Confirmed working for the Hopper 30 zipper as well. Thanks!

I just printed one myself for the Hopper 30 but it wouldn't work no matter what I tried. It seemed like it wasn't wide enough. at the rear of the pull. I've seen where others in the comments confirmed it fitting the hopper 30 but maybe mine is slightly bigger. I guess the first print had an issue I couldn’t find so I reprinted it and it worked great.

Do they make a 3D file for Eric cooler

I must ask, how did you push the first couple teeth together manually?
@ScorchWorks Жыл бұрын
I don't remember specifically how I did that.
@LiamLC4 Жыл бұрын
@@ScorchWorks that’s too bad. I tried pushing them together using pliers to no avail
@ScorchWorks Жыл бұрын
@@LiamLC4 Remember they go together easily if they are put in the correct position. Try flexing rows of teeth the way the would be going through the zipper mechanism (or close to that shape)

Will this 3d print work on a soft side Rtic cooler? The teeth are definitely a different size ...
@ScorchWorks3 жыл бұрын
I have no idea. I don't have an Rtic cooler.

The 3D printed part?
@johnfarragher25813 жыл бұрын
could you make the part and sell it???
@ScorchWorks3 жыл бұрын
I will not make the parts to sell (That sounds like work. I am here for fun.) but you can pay someone else to make the parts. 3D printers a pretty common these days you may even have an acquaintance that could make the parts for you.

you said you made it out of pla right?
@ScorchWorks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, and it seems to be holding up well. No problems yet. (although I only use it occasionally)

Over priced coolers by far. I promise you because my zipper is offtrack I night a Publix freezer bag the other day for my cold items. That 3 dollar bag kept ice, ice in my hot car all day in SC (black car, black interior) with outside temp 93F. Amazing, it's not 1/4" thick. My hopper would have been mostly melted.

The zippers on these yeti coolers as are ridiculous Even brand new it is hard to open the lubricant doesn’t do much Sure enough one year in and it’s broken Will not buy a yeti with a zipper again
