Killer review, honestly you’re doing the best reviews out there right now in my opinion. They really are coming off as true and honest by a skilled experienced rider instead of someone who might have some type of market influence behind it. Even mtb yum yums reviews lately are starting to feel like long commercials for salt cycles

You're killing it on these reviews. This is a TONE of work, and the end product is very informative with great production quality, hats off!

Great review Mo...I love YETI bikes. Been a fan of their bikes since the Yeti/John Tomac days way back in the early 1990's.

Au début du mtb, Yeti c'était une des références. Entredeux il y a eu beaucoup plus de concurrence. Et là, on dirait que le monstre revient dans la course. Merci pour cet essai Mo 🙏 ❤

At 6'5" I demoed the XXL 140 LR last year and thought it fit much better than my 2021 XL SB130 that I'm still on. The steeper seat angle and longer wheelbase/reach was very apparent. You mentioned a higher stack in this video for the 2025 model tested.....is this simply due to the 35mm rise bar or did Yeti actually increase the stack on the frame with different geometry? Finally getting some bikes that fit us big guys!!! Glad you liked it the second go around, this will be my new bike for next year!
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
It’s the same stack height but the new bar is stock for them and normally it comes much lower. It was much appreciated!! You will be stoked!!! Pro Bike has some insane deals too, they will take care of you!! Let us know if you have any other questions!

I also really like the higher rise bars on my SB150. It definitely helps the slow speed handling.

Between this and a stump jumper , what’s a better climber/XC type bike?

I have 2023 SB140LR, and ended up putting a volume reducer in the Float X. I’d be curious to hear how different the latest tune is.

Actually I wanted the stumpy 15, but now I'm considering rather this one. Want one single bike to do all kinds of stuff, fast climbs, long tours and downhill, maybe 5 times to a Bikepark per year. I'm intermediate, so I value maintailibilty and longevity as well. Saw some tests, but probably have to try both bikes. What do you guys think? Stumpy 15 or sb140?
@JustinWillinghamАй бұрын
Just finished this review and your review on the new Stumpjumper 15. If you were to purchase one of these two bikes right now, which one would you get?
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
Depends where I lived! Somewhere fast, Yeti! Somewhere a bit more tech, Stumpy! Conclusion out now!
@MrAntoniovineАй бұрын
Hey Mo. Looking for your advice! I’m an older rider (56) and our local trails in Northern Ontario are rocky, technical single track with punchy climbs, moderate elevation, and very few berms to speak of! I ride with some younger guys so my priority is to keep up with them! I can hang with them on the downhill but loose them on the climbs and flats! I know it’s 90% rider but looking for any edge possible! Considering the Instinct C70 and SB140 GX build. Which combines efficiency with comfort for an old back?!?
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
100% the yeti between those 2!! I love the instinct but the yeti is definitely a bit more on the efficient side!! The instinct is more capable on rowdy descents though!! Both are great and you can’t go wrong!!!

Holy smokes! I've had the same 26" mountain bike since 2006... and the same wife since 2005. I need to get my act together! (I suppose I'll keep the wife.) But I'm actually going to be buying or ordering something new at the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival in March. And the SB140 is on my list of bikes to demo. I'm gonna keep my old bike for when friends come to visit... or give it back to the Flintstones!

Another great review. Thanks Mo! I have this on my list, but out of my price range currently. Any comparisons between Switch Infinity and DW-link?
@moandhannahtravelАй бұрын
Pro Bike Supply has some insane deals this Black Friday so make sure to check in with them! But as far as switch infinity vs DWlink, infinity is a bit better at high speeds while dwlink has a much more supple initial stroke! So if you like going fast the yeti will feel a little plusher at high speeds while the dw has a bit more traction initially! Both pedal just as great as each other!
@JCaleb3718Ай бұрын
@@moandhannahtravel I'll definitely check them out. SB140 LR would be a dream bike. Thanks for the comparison on DW-LINK and Switch Infinity. That's helpful.

Coming from a Ripmo, I was instantly at home on my new 140LR. Felt more agile, better balanced, but completely natural. No learning curve for me.

did they actually change the frame and geo to raise stack height or did you just add spacers and higher rise bars?
