Need to test the new seat and the bucket has been perfect in roadtrip for dry goods for bbq and the top part i keep the spices

I absolutely love the look of that bucket and it would certainly be the ultimate bucket for my car detailing but I just can't get myself to pay TEN TIMES more than a normal hardware store bucket I can get for about $4. And when you start adding all the accessories, I could probably buy a Honda Civic for the same final price of the bucket with all the accessories added on. And it performs the EXACT same function. I know a lot of my detailing acquaintances have purchased these buckets and they all love them and sure they are without a doubt the Ferrari of a wash bucket, but I just can't justify the cost for a car wash bucket. You walk into the bank and ask to see a loan officer. YOU: "Can I apply for a personal loan please?" LOAN OFFICER: "Sure, what are you thinking of investing in sir?" YOU: "A car wash bucket". I think most people who buy these buckets are probably just trying to outdo the Jones' so to speak. People who have to have the very best of something just to say "I have one of those" or so their neighbors see they are washing their car with a wash bucket that cost more than the jalopy they are driving in the first place. I do love that bright blue color though. Mine is the bright orange one. Not a Yeti, a bright orange $4 one from Home Depot!

Haha, I totally feel you on this! It’s easy to get wrapped up in justifying these kinds of splurges, and I can definitely argue it both ways. Sometimes, I'm my own best salesperson, convincing myself why I “need” something. But honestly, at the end of the day, it's all about what works best for you. A $4 bucket that gets the job done sounds pretty good, too! The blue color may be nice, but that orange definitely has its own charm! I will say with the accessories on it, the way everything fits perfectly together it makes it a bit easier to digest.
