About 5 years ago, I rode my bike from Seattle to Cle Elum and back across the Cascade Mountains. I was 55 years old and no, I did not shred down the mountain side:) Saw some rock climbers one day near the pass and a black bear way too close for comfort on the way home. Forget Europe. I'm still checking out my backyard.

Lived in the PNW from 98-2011. Mountain biked King Co., Kitsap Co., Oak Harbor, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Cascade mountains etc.. You have it all in a matter of an hours or so drive. Excellent XC, the best DH south of Whistler. I reminisce on the NORBA downhill races I entered, group DH and XC rides. For the dedicated, you can bike year round there. Loved my time stationed there. Nothing like it anywhere else in the country. Just be careful in the wild, no snakes thank god but bear and cougars roam all the regions and have been known to kills unsuspecting riders.

I was stationed at Ft Lewis in 1994 and spent every spare minute climbing, skiing, backpacking, mountain biking until the present. I have only heard of one cougar attack resulting in a fatality and one bear attack.

Nice video. Seriously. But maybe next time you boys come to ride our local trails, you'll try and leave a little more dirt where it was. Just a hope.

Ya...as a trail builder (back in the day) Seeing this kind of crap really grinds my gears. Guess unless they "tear it up" they just dont get the shot. And all it does is encourage more knuckleheads to do the same with zero regard to the work involved with fixing things. Not something you can just throw money at.

Yeah, not sure they used the exit 27 or exit 34? trails in their video. Mt. Prevost on Vancouver Island and Oakridge, OR are likely there.

Great bike , rides smooth kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing .
