He's a 49er now. I read we signed him because he's good at setting the edge. Maybe he didn't live up to expectations as a pass rusher, but we have a specific role for him, and he's getting 9 million a year to do it. Hope he's good against the run because we need help there.

I posted this video after his disappointing 2022 season, in 2023 he definitely had a better year. If y'all can use him correctly he can reach his full potential imo.

@IcyRetros I think he'll be a DE on base downs, then kick inside to rush the QB on passing downs kinda like we dud with Arden Key. A lot of changes on the D-line for us this year so far.

Actually, we're paying him the vet minimum in year one with bonuses if he performs. If he's good enough to keep, his base salary in '25 is only $7M with bonuses.
