10 Return Track Tricks you Should Know | Side Brain

In this video, we go over 10 tricks and uses for Return tracks.
Someone pointed out in the comments that in the first example I'm sending all Drum Tracks to different Return tracks which is my mistake. I meant to send all drum Tracks to Return Track A with the Reverb.

In your first example, you’re sending each drum track to a different return track - not the reverb track - which doesn’t illustrate the point you’re trying to make about applying a single effect in varying amounts

People already posted out the send issue in example one. Example 2. That’s not multiband compression. That’s 3 compressors in serial with an eq. Unless I’m missing the frequency separator and assigner before these. Not trying to hate. Good content and intentions. It’s just critical in the learning process to make sure we are guiding people correctly, brother.

Wow. Just, wow Normally I do playback speed at 1.25 or 1.5 because pacing generally for KZbin tuts = slow & wordy af Your tutorial = v. much an exception. I wish my brain could take it all in at playback speed = .75. Mind blown. I'm seriously having trouble picking up what you're putting down because we're talking God-tier fu, never seen before I'm committed to replaying this tutorial until I've internalized it all.
