Yeva, a Ukrainian gymnast pursuing her dream at Forza Ritmica Gent

Forza Ritmica in Ghent is changing and is becoming stronger thanks to Ukrainian gymnasts.
Yeva (12) came to Belgium with her mother and brother from Odessa. She was first hosted in the collective accommodation centre and now lives in the Emergency village in Ghent.
Yeva was a professional gymnast in Ukraine and was able to continue her training at the Forza Ritmica club where she trains with Belgian girls and other Ukrainian girls fleeing the war. Now Yeva represents Ghent at international and national competitions.
IOM Belgium works in the accommodations centres, opened by the city of Ghent, for displaced Ukrainians in Ghent and helps all residents to integrate in the new country.
