The whole script is to forgive and condone violence against women and to demean women, and to condition young people that its OK to control and physically and emotionally abuse women and these women will still choose their abusers over good men such as the 2ML. Thumbs down to this drama -- surprised that the authorities allow such garbage to be promoted widely. WOmen were supposed to have equalrights now in China, but looks like society is still in the fuedal era.

This is a very traumatic story line. Many remakes were made and it is utterly disappointing. Too many people and misunderstandings came between the main leads. FL marrying twice then Ml with a psycho family so their getting back together doesn't give any relief to the viewers . I don't find it necessary to remake this sad, traumatic story line again and again.

All I got is ML was literally crazy...like for real crazy. FL was crazy and stupid because he choked her constantly, slapped her, raped her, degraded her, verbally and mentally abused her and yet she loved him. He gave her no reason to love him. Her ex was the better man by far. I had to dast fwd through this. The cruelty is the point I guess. The writers seemed to want to torture FL as much as possible. Hell, ML choked her after she had a heart attack in front of him...just WOW!
