Planning to buy nxt yr, but worried about tube tire.... Should i go for it? And I heard there is rusting issue and limited service centre. I live in Mumbai btw

You can buy it. I guess any metal will rust. If it doesn't then it's not metal. Go for the Yezdi. Happy touring

Bs6 obd2 is much refine only issue is service. Parts nhi milte service center limited hai

In the city it gives 30 and highways 35kmpl. If you ride it at 85 on 6th gear on open road I have managed 37kmpl as well.

This ain't a great machine in comparison available in market. Jawa gearbox has very short gear ratio even for adv as well this is quite short gear ratio, plus its power curve is not very impressive for an off road biased vehicle. I don't think it will be a good buy. But if you do, you would be one of very few people in your city who own it and ready to suffer ownership pain.

Gear ratios have to be balanced for power and torque. Not everything can be idealistic. And I would like to be the very few who own unique bikes. Anyways thanks for sharing your opinion 😄

@@motoavs2.0 well nothing against what all you said except for one thing, gear ratio can be come very very close to being idealistic. I mean just think it rationally, not because you have purchased it. We have a triumphs gearbox, a ktm gearbox, a Honda gearbox, a Bajaj gearbox, a new Himalayan gearbox or the older classic reborn gearbox, a hero gearbox and then we have jawa/yezdi as well. Each one will have some cons definately but in adv segment where the primary purpose is to have a tall gear ratio, and more torque in lower gears, non of the other manufacturers other than yezdi offer such short gearing ratio. The point is not about adjusting, people even ride splendour to the toughest terrain, the problem is does this machine does justice to the segment for what it's built! But then, people are the best judge, if it's a good machine, it will sell otherwise it will have to close its shop and as far as sales figure goes, yezdi has not even 1% of above 300 cc segment market share, so they must be doing something wrong OR others are doing something way significantly better than them. Again, I am not saying anything against you personally, I am just against the machine they designed, I have ridden all adv that exist in this segment (except for new Himalayan). Trust me I had a lot of grudge with old big bulky slow old Himalayan as well, it was just not an adv.

I respect your opinion buddy. But apart from gear ratios do you see any othet flaws ? Get me this segment bike at this price which does touring with ease on triple digits along with offroading 😄

Its because how it is marketed, you don't see much marketing for adventure and most people will see it as copy of Himalayan only, but let's see... Since there is now huge price gap created after launch of 450 maybe we'll see rise in sells
