Sound is not as per old Yezdi, like Enfield has retained its old sound with little modifications, but this new Yezdi sound is not good, soud factor is major attractive factor, my father owned Yezdi in the 1970s

Yes correct .... When jawa aggreement ended an Irani family was manufacturing the bikes and they changed the name from jawa to yezdi... Maybe that's the reason why they have used parsi symbol on the new bikes and the word yezdi comes from a parsi word 'yazd' which means God.
