HAHA that compressor situation was pretty funny. Heck yeah dude! Soooo stoked for you! Looks like its got some serious juice in the boat!!! I love the eagle screech.

That's awesome for the 1st test run , my buddy built me a flat bottom .125 and 1/4 "aluminum river boat with my Kawasaki 310 ultra and the cavitation was real nasty , we couldn't actually resolve cause I'm guessing intake was too high and ahead , I may pull engine back out and consider merc sport jet , sure wish I would've had the resources and skills you acquire .Thats some awesome fab and engineering skill u have⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@Localhost1274 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Its Somewhat ironic that you mention that! Your video illustrating how much warping you had experienced on the RSR is what convinced me that i absolutely did not have the proper tooling to ensure that the exact same thing wouldnt happen to me, And i dont have near the amount of welding experience as you either.

Awesome!! I caught up with your build from mini jet Facebook page. Hope to see that thing in the Mississippi River sometime. I put in at north shore marina. That would be sweet to run up the Dardene creek! But also travel south and run the gasconade and current and black river and find some skinny water. Hope to see that thing on a sand bar this summer man.

I always like to start my holes with a small bit then use the step drill/bigger bit to get up to the right diameter. And using cheap small drill bits saves your step and expensive drill bits from prematurely wearing
@Localhost1273 жыл бұрын
This is something I learned the hard way. Step bits at 40$ a piece get real expensive quick lol.

Did you buy the hull welded and from who. I was looking at kit from RSP /Watts but not sure yet.
@Localhost1274 жыл бұрын
Yes, I bought the hull welded. I was looking at about 5 different vendors, But wanted the most comprehensive reliable nice looking kit for the money i was looking to spend, And ended up with a minijet inc avenger hull. This specific one is an 11 foot, But he has a ton of different options for whatever youre looking for. If you end up with them, They actually do care about the finished products once its out of their hands.
@caymccarp344 жыл бұрын
@@Localhost127 , if you dont mind me asking what did you pay for the welded hull? I was going to buy a kit set and weld it my self but I dont know if that is such a good deal. I guess it depends on the cost. Your mini looks awesome , and pretty well made. Watts has that model like mini jet that has the back plat form which I like but I watched this video before yours and he seemed to have many problems on every video I watched. I've been doing a lot of research on which ski I would go with. I think it will be Kawasaki something. STX with the triple, or something supercharged model. No car engines , just jet ski . Are you installing the bottom guard on you boat? I want to run mine down some shallow rivers and into some tight spots so the guard is essential to my build. Nice set up I'm going subscribe so I can see the progress.

@Localhost1274 жыл бұрын
Its out of an ultra250x JetSki. It is quite big!
@jdh10474 жыл бұрын
With regard to the fuel capacity. I don’t think you are going way to big. In the service manual for your ski you should find rated fuel consumption at WOT and an operating time at WOT with the stock tank. In general I find you can at least double that value for medium current rivers. You have so much power you might get even more since you will run less throttle. I regretfully built my tank to match my stock 14gal tank capacity which was rated at 1.2 hrs of WOT run rime. It’s not bad but for full day rides I definitely need to carry spare fuel cans. With my 120hp 2 stroke I find 20gal is what I use on a good day trip. I’m sure you know but be sure to add baffling walls in the tank.
@Localhost1274 жыл бұрын
This is some good info! We had planned to baffle the tank, But will be putting extra emphasis on this now!
