The crazy thing is, treasure has so many members that it should be even more complicated for them to synchronize, but after all YG isn’t exactly a a dance based company since that isn’t their priority!!! They got the stage presence for sure!!! Their artists are no joke when it comes swag!!

Because Treasure have so many main dancers. As a main dancer, they have to make sure that their member are on sync while dancing. Moreover, the leaders (Hyunsuk and Jihoon) of the group also are main dancers, they are very strict if there have member who didn't synchronize even just a little step

This is why YG made a statement that they made TREASURE as their first dance-focused group. But I think the only difference from older YGAs is that they spend more time practicing and polishing the choreo, cause YGAs are actually good dancers overall, it's just that they dont focus on it too much (especially before). TREASURE members are also younger so it's just fair to use their youthful energy for choreos. Although I think synchronized dancing is not a necessity, this is still the part where TREASURE can distinct themselves from the rest of the groups, and I love how YG is good at differentiating the groups without losing the YG vibes. You literally cannot say TREASURE is just "(insert groupname) 2.0" because their promotion is very different from the older groups. note: there are still moments of unsynchronosity.. but so far they better in it lol... P.S.: They still messed up and failed on the Random Play Dance on Weekly Idol😆 they just randomly play and dance together lollll

Pre-debut TOP used to come at least an hour early just to practice dancing because YG and choreographers back then thought he still lacks dancing skills. Until one day, he stopped giving a fuck. While synchronization is enjoyable to watch, and requires dedication and skill, it’s only one aspect of a performance. YG groups and members are so unique in individual personality, charisma and talents and to me that’s what makes them stand out. With other groups I have a hard time remembering who is who, but with YG groups it’s easy. I also actually really love how each member sometimes do their own version of the same choreo. I wouldn’t have it any other way!
