What the hell are you talking about?! Do you really believe that they are their mentors ?! I follow all blackpink members on Instagram, with their insane hectic schedule they are always overseas and barely spending anytime in Korea, let alone mentoring new group with a whole different concept. Moreover, it's not their job to train them. They may have given them their take on their performances from time to time but that's it.

TREASURE got units and a member solo before debut, as well as a full album, and even a lot more of freedom to write and produce, something BLACKPINK, WINNER and iKON needed to wait a lot to have. The first two sound very similar to Black Pink's Rose in phrasing and tone. But more high end at times. Came close to the contrived American Idol type of performances. I bet that is part of the training process. What will be interesting is how the new younger group push YG to let them play around with new work, like the last rapper. Combine the resources of YG with the skill and energy of the three we saw and it could be great.
