Didn’t see that move to Palau but it opens up many options. Really makes the Allied player thinking which direction Japan will go. Personally I think I would still buy the minor IC because you always need more ground units in Chinese territory, no matter which way you go.

Ya, I like that we're using 2 Island infantry without stripping mainland units for Island hopping, and their range from there is incredible even though they can only move 2 spaces.

I like your idea of moving the fleet to the Caroline Islands on the first move it opens the Pacific up to many more options. Like you I've been holding my fleet close to the Asian shore line waiting for the time to strike. I will need to try it a couple of times and see how l do with it.

Good show, I think you really did a good.job putting Japan in the position to become an absolute monster. The Allies will have a super hard time to defend against that.

Yeah I understand why the OOB victory conditions can be polarizing, on a separate note I currently feel like the Pacific objectives for both the Japan and the U.S. seems somewhat difficult for either country to achieve. to take and hold 8 different islands seems super hard! This token takes 8 different amphibious assaults for either country. Would you maybe consider lowering the barrier to either country taking 5 or 6 of the opposing countries pacific islands? I think it might make the token more viable. I think it is super cool you have made holding the pacific a victory token which I think OOB makes the pacific islands not important at all. But I am concerned that taking 8 islands is too high of a barrier, I would be interested in your play testing how many times was this token acheived? Thanks for answering my previous question.

Hey Jack, you don’t need to hold a victory objective to score the point, you just need to achieve it once during the game. Do me a favour and place 4 American transports off Caroline with 4 American infantry in Caroline. Then place 3 UKP transports off Queensland with 3 UKP infantry in Queensland... automatic Allied Pacific token threat.

@@TheCliffsideBunker Yeah I agree that's a valid scenario! I would just rate it as one of the hardest tokens besides supremacy. I would be personally embarrassed to give up the Pacific token for either US or Japan. Japan has the kamikaze tokens which help defend those islands. To stop the token either country only needs to defend 1 out of 8 islands.

Around the 27 minute mark-it looks like you should have taken off two Chinese infantry on Yunan but you only took off one. Or did a I miss something? If I’m right you should reroll the single Chinese infantry because you will likely get a Japanese infantry back.
