I’ve gotten this projector b4 and it works and sets up fine, but it’s native resolution is only 240p. No matter HOW MUCH you adjust the focus you will still see pixels, it works okay close up, but anything further than three feet is annoyingly square

It has the reso on the instruction manual, just in fine print. and when I gave it to my sister cause i didin't want to throw it out, she said she couldn't get it to work- which was the third time it had been used ever.

OK...but HOW do you get it to work with USB or iPhone?? You say you do that, but I need you to actually show how it's all done. I cannot get mine to play videos or show pictures or anything!! Chances are, like me, you have a phone that is not MHL enabled. You would have to check the manufacturers sight to find out. Generally, cheaper smart phones and tablets will not have it.

The one I bought years ago was 320x240 (240p). Is the resolution higher now? I noticed some clones (case is slightly different but same colour but different model number) say it is upgraded to 800x480 now. It isn't very bright but maybe it might be good if someone installs a retro gaming card inside it (or even outside it plugged into the HDMI if it can be self powered by the USB port also). 240p is perfect for older retro games. What I don't understand is it was advertised to contain a battery (the one I bought) but it never works without power. It has the on and off switch on the side but this switch doesn't seem to do anything. It still works when it is in either position (off or on) but maybe this is because I used the microUSB (5v) to power it and this never charges any battery (it switches off when unplugged). Does it work different using the other input which is 12v (maybe it only charges the battery with the 12v input, or is there actually no battery inside)?

It has a discomforting sound when turn on … I wish it’s not making that noise and smell. If I knew before I would have not purchased. Dun know if any silent projectors are available in small size. This video don't really provide any proper review is just selling the product. If you have any doubts, doesn't work with any smartphones or similars, has no compatibility with any streaming service, the bluetooth sometimes work and sometimes doesn't, and the quality is pretty terrible. Minecraft looks better than anything you will play on this thing, and forget about subtitles as they will be unreadable.

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
