I am so very thankful to our Father God for leading me to Shepherds Chapel 🙏. I have called myself a Christian for quite a while but never was taught the things I have came to learn & understand since becoming a member of this congregation. Now, I am excited for each new lessen but feel ashamed for the lack of knowledge that I was ignorant about during those early years. I am now 63 years old. May God continue to bless this ministry with Pastor Dennis. His dad was a wonderful teacher. Thank you for your open doors & love you so outwardly share. This is sincere teaching with the goal of reaching Gods children with truth, wisdom & love. Sincerely, Shirley Bentley Raynor

I thank Yahveh for sending us such a great team of teachers from the chapel. I know that Pam is enjoying his place in Heaven with our Father. I’m also proud of Dennis picking up an teaching. The word has changed my life and I wish I’d learned earlier but I also know that it was in God’s perfect timing. ❤️🙏✝️

Any advice would be appreciated…I currently go to a church that takes communion every Sunday. I do it because I am a child of God, in repentance but I think also that it should only be taken the three times a year so what do I do? I feel this church lessens the meaning of communion by doing it every Sunday…what do you think?
@grettaroberts5871 Жыл бұрын
The early church met on the first day of the week to break bread and worship God. The breaking of bread is not a common meal but the Lord’s supper remembering Christ. He directs us to do this not just 3 times a year. No biblical text says that.

@@grettaroberts5871 Arnold Murray himself stated communion should be observed three times a year that it was biblical. Passover, Feast of tabernacles,and the feast of weeks. That’s why I’m confused about it. It feels like a tradition of man, know what I mean? Thank you for responding!

Contrary to my former denomination's opinion, I have never believed that never cutting my hair is indicative of Christ being my covering.

Hey I know you commented this some years ago, but can you explain if that passage is forbidden women to shave their hair?

Is this statement true First, Corinthians 11 29 2 30. If you eat of the bread or drink to cup without honoring the body of christ, you are eating and drinking god's judgment upon yourself
@brianvanblarganblargan8671 Жыл бұрын
Adding to last comment. This is how much God's judgment upon yourself. That is why many of you are weak and sick, and some have even dit. Sounds like they're saying if you don't pray over your food that you will get weak and sick and even die. Not flashes use this roommate reduced the number

This is concerning! It's crucial to seek guidance from genuine preachers, not this 'fast food' style of preaching that could lead you astray. I recommend listening to solid teachers like John MacArthur or Martyn Lloyd-Jones. Properly studying the Bible takes time; some spend 2 to 10 years delving deeply into each verse and chapter. Also, this speaker's interpretation of 1 Corinthians 11:19 is incorrect. It's no surprise he avoids explaining passages that may reveal his shortcomings. Stay clear of such misleading teachings.
