Might somebody please be able to tell me the name of the first tune played here? (I know the second one, Betuta din Yaloveny, which starts at 2:53, but I don't know the one before it.)

Rest easy, ladies and gentlemen, I can now answer my own question, at least to a certain extent. The first piece here is what Ilana Kravitz simply titles "Sher" in her book on Klezmer fiddling. Probably it also goes under other titles elsewhere (most likely the "something" Sher or the Sher from "somewhere").
