4:26 I am also struggling deeply with condemnation. Everybody tells me God loves me and blah blah, but the understanding that I'm only loved when I do something in exchange for it is so deeply rooted in me that I can't get rid of it. I always try to be good enough in God's eyes, but it only leads to more despair, more frustration, more negative feelings. It is so exhausting, but I don't want to give up. I wants to shake it off and be free.

Oh you should rejoice in this that even before u were born Jesus loved u so deep that He came n died for you. You don't earn His love you receive it. Learn to receive it. Focus on His love for you not on ur love for Him. This will change the way u see things. Inorder to receive His love you have to read the word of God. I suggest u to start from Romans. Know His love.

Nicole :) You are so loved! Don't worry as you seek God you don't need to be afraid of being deceived by a preacher connected to a church that you probably think is devilish. God is a good father and He is well able to protect you from the enemy. And God is a God of clarity. Not of confusion and fear!! Confusion and fear comes straight from the devil! I once wasn't sure about charismatic stuff like Bethel and so and I know the cycle of confusion when so many preachers seem connected and you don't know who to trust anymore. It is not a healthy way of living and not the freedom God has for His kids. Just surrender your fears and confusion to Jesus :) You have a right to have peace :) Even if the Lord doesn't explain the doubts you can still be at peace. And I know we've been taught a very black and white thinking..either it's all of God or it's all of the devil..but actually that is not true. If it would be, preachers would need to be perfect and no human anymore who can still miss the point sometimes. If we look into the bible (Old Testament as well as New) and at the lives of the 'great preachers' we see how human they were and how they failed many times, but this didn't made them a 'false apostle/preacher/king' etc. If someone is related to smt doesn't mean they automatically agree or believe the same thing. I have friends who are unbelievers, that doesn't make me at all an unbeliever too ;) Our modern christianity sadly is pointing fingers and "exposing" eachother all the time as well as "discerning" good and evil by a certain ministry name. In the end it's about trust. Do I believe God sees my heart of wanting the real gospel and no wrong doctrine? And if He sees it, do I believe God is well able to protect me from false doctrine? And do I believe God is a good Father who will not watch His child who has a honest heart walk into a wrong direction without stopping it? Fear and confusion is a false 'protector' instead they hinder you to receive what God has for you :) Blessings to you!
