She is more known for her TV shows in China. Those are the ones that made her name known in China, which were streamed on television like fifteen years ago. I wouldn’t have know about this if I didn’t search her up because I was too young. Her movies in China was alright. None of her movies were outstanding or particularly good, which makes me very curious of her performance in Mulan. This might be her best performance on big screen in her career.

I know. But it looks a lot more realistic and accurate and I'm so here for it. The Beauty and the Beast remake was exactly like the original and it made the faults very glaring in my opinion. I'd rather it be really different and more respectful to the original legend than be a cheap copy of the original, if that makes any sense. Honestly, I think she’s still the best 小龍女 of the millennium. Of course best 小龍女of all time is Idy Chan (1983). Story of the noble family, back then, she was 14.
