Here’s what I like about Consort Shu: she never assumed that the rumors surrounding Ruyi were true, and based her impression of Ruyi on her (Ruyi’s) actions. She only observed others and didn’t speak ill of anyone else until much later on. And even then, she would only do it in private to those who she knew she could trust.
