My brother married a Markle. From having a wide circle of friends, the first five years of his marriage saw all of his friends drop off one by one, starting incidentally with his very best friends, simultaneously causing constant family issues. Once the friends were gone, she upped creating family conflict, escalating those over the next two years until they cut that relationship completely and haven’t seen them for over 15 years. Didn’t even put in an appearance at his parents funeral ( but plenty of legal activity around the will!) Social media messages or anniversary wishes from the family totally ignored so no contact whatsoever any more. So sad to see it happen to someone you love, or loved. Can’t do anything about it.

We have a good friend who got married rather hastily. We were unable to attend the wedding, which was in his new wife's town, quite far away from us. Anyway, when we didn't hear back from them for six months, we merely inquired if our wedding gift reached them. It was an expensive gift, and we were going to replace it if they didn't receive it. Anyway, our friend's wife wrote to us, and said, "Thank you. Who are you to us anyway? We don't really know you." Suffice it to say, I haven't heard from our friend for the past three years except for a lengthy Christmas missive that his wife writes, and that basically complains about our friend. She says she talked him into taking cooking classes because she wants him to do all the cooking, and she wants him to take marriage classes and go to counseling (alone) because she says he needs to learn to be a better husband. Sorry for the rant, but it felt good to vent!

Harry’s former mates aren’t going to take any chance of having private conversations repeated publicly. His military colleagues won’t have anything to do with him because he wrote things about his military service that, while likely not even close to the truth, could’ve painted a target on the backs of all of those in his unit. Harry had a choice. He dropped his friends for Meghan. He could’ve been a man and said “NO, I am going to go out with my friends to catch up and you are not invited”. This isn’t on Meghan, as much as I hate to say it, this is on Harry.

Doesn't mean he can't recognize his mistakes and set about righting the wrongs. We all screw up, in one way or another. I made a huge mistake in marrying my second husband after I was widowed at a young age. It wasn't until we were married a couple of years that I realized he had an addiction to prescribed pain pills and tranquilizers and everything under the sun. People can hide their true selves for only so long. Once I realized the problem and the extent of it, I also had to deal with "you should have...." or "you got married too quickly" or "didn't you SEE the signs?" type comments. I recognized my own mistakes, but I couldn't rewind and have a do over. All I could do was learn from it, and move forward making better decisions. I gave him an ultimatum....get clean and stay clean, or we are leaving. He chose drugs, and we left. I've never regretted making that choice. He will remain stuck in Meghan quicksand until he decides to take HIS life back. She was the fuel behind a lot of his behaviors, just as my toxic ex made me into a. person I knew I never wanted to be.

That's what I always believed. He rushed in to that marriage and thought he had found his own cathrine .Not realizing that markel was nothing like Catherine . Harry got mad at with his family and friends because they could all see that markle was trouble and when they tried to warn harry he got angry at his family and friends and decided he was going to give up everything in his life and follow her to California to prove everyone wrong and I think markle and doria helped convince harry that his family and friends were against both of them and he decided to go rouge and betray his family , friends and countrymen convinced they did like markel because of her heritage. Now he's waking up and one day he is going to regret ever meeting her and will want nothing to do with her. Harry will end up hating markle . She basically came into his life and turned it upside down. I doubt markle ever really loved Harry. Markle loved the titles, power , fame and wealth that harry brought to the table .
